Welcome to Ashcan Comics Pub.'s new product line - CHAPTER COMICS!!
What on Earth are chapter comics? Well, similar to issue numbers, these chapter comics will be ongoing series, but presented in the form of chapters. Similar to comics, chapter comics will contain artwork that accompanies the stories. Unlike comics, however, chapter comics will be in short story (prose) format. These books will be between 20 and 40 pages (Ashcan size pages) each and can continue for as long as the author wants to keep writing and Ashcan can keep publishing!

Now you know about Chapter Comics, so lets talk about Truth.
Truth is a western fantasy about a former Catholic priest with a magical gun that leads him to square off against injustice and ultimately against supernatural evils. Gunslinger, action, western, and science fantasy fans who like titles like Diablo I-III, Dark Tower, Good, the Bad & The Ugly, and John Constantine will most likely find this chapter comic interesting.

Immerse yourself in the Fantasy-Western world of Truth!
Warren is not an antihero. The hero in Truth is truly a hero. It is a relief to find stories where good vs. evil in a classic setting. There aren't a lot of characters like Warren developed these days, and Warren's connection to a priestly order sets the scene for a fantastic battlefield against the supernatural.
Chapter one sets the stage nicely and introduces several key characters: Warren, the former Catholic priest who wields a magical gun , called Truth - he is led (sometimes in an almost possessed state) to combat evil; Billy and Sue, the young sidekicks lead Warren through their hometown of Waverly; Brad, the briefly mentioned ally, and Dr. Phillips... There is something mysterious about Dr. Phillips. We will need to see what's going on in chapter two to find out more about him and this deepening plot.
Warren seems to wrestle with inner-struggles all while maintaining an ambitious devotion to fighting for good. This is an ongoing theme choice by Nate Lindley. Warren seems to be placed in a world were good is heavily outnumbered by evil. Nate Lindley is creating a story where good will be battling against the odds and attempt to reset the scales.
